News (November 2008)   Current News 17/11/08    Saturday 22/11 Our next round of competition is back to normal with our U6-U8 needing to be at the track at 8.20am and the U9-U16 around 9.50am The older groups will participate in a Multi Event Competition.  If you are keen on this type of competition where you have points added together over 5 events and then a winner is decided, please ensure you enter the State Multi Event (details in the Handbook Unfortunately some items have been lost and found.  Please check your belongings are yours, if not please let Jo know on 0418 551070 LOST - Mentone Track Pants, size XS, lablelled with the owners name         Athletes Foot Shoe Bag (yellow) with black Nike runners FOUND - Many drink bottles, caps, a couple of jumpers and Mentone Track Pants, size XS (most likely the owner of the one who has the labelled ones above.)   If any Mentone parent took photos from Mentone Relay Day or SMR Relay day, we would love to be able to put these on our website.  Please email any photos to Marinus (marinus@oosthuizen.id.au) and we will endeavour to put them on the web. If you name appears below, can you please contact Sanja on 0409 965 783 to confirm if Proof of Age has been shown, otherwise please arrange to show this on Friday 7 November:  Angus Bonwick, Harrison Scott, Lewis Castle, Kurt Corrigan, Hayley Dobbin, Matthew Edwards, Paige Edwards, Serena Galvin, Jaspar Gordon, Tessa Healey, Caleb Homer Chest Patches/IGA Patches There are still a large number of athletes not wearing these sponsored patches.  From this week on any athlete not displaying their name chest patch (front) and/or their red IGA patch (back) will be fined $1 with all money going to the Royal Childrens Hospital.    All U9 -U15 athletes and parents please note that the State Track and Field Championships has now changed dates. The event will be conducted over the weekend of 21-22 March 2009.
